Engagement Photoshoot at White Horse Woods
Having met with Grace and Charlie at a Kent Wedding Fair we were delighted to hear they wanted to book us to photograph their 2024 wedding. However, with such a long wedding planning timeline, how can a couple help build the excitement for their wedding day? With an engagement photoshoot of course.
An ideal way to practice being in front of the camera, get to know us and to ask any questions or advice, here at Luke Granger Photography we keep engagement or pre-wedding shoots friendly and relaxed, just like we do our wedding photography.
Grace & Charlie chose an early evening photoshoot at White Horse Woods in Detling, a local walk they enjoy often with their dog Knight. As Kent wedding photographers we are always happy to adapt to the desires of our couples and in this case we were delighted to welcome Knight along to join in with their engagement photoshoot. He is a key member of their family after all.
Knight, a 3 year old Dalmation, German Shepherd Cross, was keen to take the limelight from his Pawrents so we were more than happy to let him show off and enjoy his time infront of the camera.
Bounding along happily, in exchange for the odd lamb flavoured treat, Knight was a fantastic model and wore his silk bow with pride.
Together we explored the White Horse Woods for around an hour or so, discussing Grace & Charlie's wedding plans and life in general. Luke shared his love for Star Wars & Lord of the Rings and I was delighted to hear that one of their wedding day tables would be Hogwarts themed. (Wedding goals right there!)
We paused along the way to take photographs, the stormy sky making for a fantastic backdrop, we even chose to add a little smoke grenades in to the mix too.
We thoroughly enjoyed photographing Grace & Charlie (and Knight) for their engagement photoshoot and are looking forward to being part of their magical wedding day in 2024. We will be sure to share photos of their big day too!
