Nestled along the River Medway, its name comes from once being the residence of the Archbishop of Canterbury back in the 14th Century so as you can imagine it is a wedding venue steeped with history.

The Great Hall can host 85 seated guests or The Solar Room accommodates just 50 guests but is the most popular option of the 4 ceremony rooms the Archbishops Palace has to offer .The Solar Room overlooks the tranquil River Medway with its vaulted beamed ceilings and leaded windows, its a fantastic choice and we love the grand fireplace that dominates the room.
The impressive, gravelled driveway, adorned with well kept flower beds allows any bride or groom to make an entrance at Archbishops Palace. Secluded and discreet, the apothecary garden is filled with beauty, a fantastic location to take photographs with your wedding guests after the ceremony before you head off to celebrate.
Located in the heart of Maidstone town centre, there are so many wedding reception venues just a short distance away from Archbishops Palace. Mumu's Cabaret club would probably be my choice as their food is superb, plus they have so many entertainment contacts that could certainly help get the party started.
