Amberley Castle in West Sussex is a stunning wedding venue, so stunning in fact that I would put it high up on my favourite venue list. If you are looking for a celebrity wedding venue, Holly Willoughby even got married here back in 2007!

Nestled in the Sussex countryside, the Amberley Castle is steeped in history and still holds so many unique features. Set in 12 acres of land, Amberley Castle has beautiful landscaped gardens, ornate doors and even a white peacock roaming the grounds.

As a Kent wedding photographer, I had the pleasure of photographing this wedding back in June 2019 and it was a real pleasure.

In true royal fashion, Tricia arrived by horse drawn carriage where she was greeted by her beloved groom, Roger. The ceremony was a traditional church service followed by another carriage ride as husband and wife.

The grandchildren were so excited to be part of such an important occasion they jumped in for a spin whilst the guests celebrated amongst themselves.

For an aerial wedding photographer like me, we couldn’t have asked for better skies as a backdrop to such a beautiful wedding venue. Aerial photography always gets plenty of attention from wedding guests who like a gadget, but the drone is a fantastic tool to capture photographs from a different aspect. Amberley Castle looked magnificent from the sky and its not hard to see why Roger and Tricia had chosen it as their Surrey Wedding Venue.

As a Kent wedding photographer, I am happy to travel into London, Sussex, Surrey or Essex to photograph weddings at such amazing locations, I have even photographed a number of weddings in Yorkshire because the venues were so exciting .

If you want to have a go playing King & Queen on your big day then choose Amberley Castle as your wedding venue, be sure to give me a call, I’d love to be your wedding photographer.
