As a Kent photographer, we love exploring and having adventures with our clients and are looking forward to meeting so many of you during our 2021 mini portrait shoots. Mini portrait sessions are a fantastic way for individuals or families of all shapes and sizes to create memories that they can treasure for years to come. We encourage our clients to enjoy the experience of being professionally photographed in a relaxed and informal way, we will simply take a walk together at one of our chosen locations, pausing along the way to capture a collection of photographs of your adventure.

Children seem to grow up in the blink of an eye so its not surprising that many of our families choose to document some of life's milestones with one of our mini portrait sessions photoshoot. Whether you wish to just focus on the children of the family or be included yourselves, our aim is to capture you all enjoying yourselves in a fun way allowing each individual to show their own personality.
Mini Portrait Photoshoot - Frequently Asked Questions
What Happens If It Rains?
The day before an outdoor mini photoshoot, we will confirm that the weather is suitable for us to continue as planned. If the weather is unsuitable, we will reschedule for the back up date listed at the time of booking.
Which Locations Can We Visit?
Currently we have three locations with dates booked in the diary but intend to add to these if our calendar allows. Hole Park & Gardens and The Chilston Park Hotel grounds change significantly seasonally so we would certainly love to revisit on a regular basis.
What Do I Wear To A Mini Photo Session?
Ultimately you can wear whatever you like but as a general rule, we suggest to avoid wearing strongly branded clothing. Whether you want to dress smart, casual, in wedding attire or in fancy dress we really don't mind along as you are happy.
Can I Book Multiple Slots?
We are happy for clients to book back to back slots if they wish to spend additional time together or have a larger family group that they wish to include.
My Daughter Wants To Be A Model, Is This A Suitable Photoshoot?
We often meet with children and adults who are looking to build their portfolio for modelling or acting careers. Mini shoots are a fantastic way to gather a range of content and we would love to help start your little ones career.
Can We Include Outfit Changes?
As our mini shoots are 30 Minutes long and other sessions are scheduled before and after, we don't feel there is enough time to allow for outfit changes.
If you are booking a double session, then there is a 10 minute window where an outfit change could be made but this is location dependant.
What If I Am Running Late For My Mini Portrait Photoshoot?
We suggest all clients aim to arrive 10 minutes before their allotted time to ensure that the session can begin promptly.
If you are running late for your photoshoot, please get in touch to let us know. Please note we will not delay other clients to accommodate lateness so your session may be forfieted.
