As a Kent Wedding Photographer, It's fantastic to be able to visit so many amazing wedding venues across the country. Luckily for me, there is a great mixture of both grand and modest wedding venues in Kent, but with so much choice it can be a difficult decision for a Bride and Groom to make. Whether you're looking for a rustic barnyard wedding venue, a stately home or even a castle there is certainly plenty for you to choose right here in your doorstep. Nicknamed the Garden of England, the Kent countryside offers some of the most beautiful landscaped gardens which make perfect backdrops for your wedding photographs.
As Kent has so many wedding venues to choose from, I wanted to share a few of my favourite wedding venues to help you plan the best wedding in Kent. Take a look around and do get in touch if you have any questions about my wedding photography packages.
There are so many wow factor wedding venues in Kent; whether you are looking for a castle or a stately home venue, a rustic barn or a peaceful oasis, Kent certainly has plenty to offer. Take a look at a selection of our favourite wedding venues below.
With a rich history of over 900 years, Leeds Castle is one of the most popular wedding venues in Kent and its not hard to see why. Couples can choose between a number of different venue options within the castle and its exquisite grounds; the Maidens Tower, the Fairfax Barn and the Battell Hall are all alternatives if the main castle isn't for you.
If you fancy being royalty for the day, then do take a look at Leeds Castle, it really does make a beautiful wedding venue.
Perched neatly on the waters edge, the Boathouse at Bewl Water makes a really peaceful wedding venue, the tranquil woodland and panoramic views are beyond breathtaking.
Bewl Water offers a selection of different options to make your wedding day unique; you and your guests can choose to enjoy a drinks reception out on the water in one of the chartered boats or perhaps the ultimate glamping package would suit you better.
Nestled minutes away from Maidstone town centre, The Orangery is one of those tardis type wedding venues in Kent that completely surprise you when you first visit.
With exclusive use of the full 9 acres of landscaped gardens alongside the building itself, The Orangery is a fantastic option for weddings all year round. We love the beautiful waterfall and lake setting, even in the Winter its a stunning outside wedding venue.
Rustic barnyard weddings are becoming increasingly popular yet with so many wedding venues in Kent to choose from, The BarnYard is a regular favourite amongst many of our couples.
Surrounded by rolling hills and romantic orchards, The BarnYard combines its converted barn with a marquee to offer weddings for up to 300 guests. Be sure to explore the grounds if you visit, they are beautiful, the food in the restaurant is also delicious.
36 acres of landscaped gardens complete with a gorgeous lake, a Victorian theatre, 47 bedrooms and a fantastic menu of food choices, Salomans Estate is a beautiful mansion wedding venue hidden in the hills of Tunbridge Wells. With a choice of 5 reception rooms (plus outside options), couples can handpick the elements of any package to tailor make their perfect wedding day, a fantastically flexible venue for any occasion.
The Great Hall at Bradbourne House, truly deserves its name, its such a beautiful wedding venue. With its picture perfect panelled doors leading to steps down to the lawn, the teal and gold decor makes for a beautiful ceremony location. Bradbourne House is truly a hidden gem, complete with Kentish apple orchards, is just an hour from London and even has a helipad if you fancy arriving by air.
Having a hotel wedding is a fantastic choice if you have guests who would like to stay overnight as they can party without the worry of travelling home. Here are our favourite hotel wedding venues in Kent.
Since opening in 2019, The Cave Hotel has built a fantastic reputation of being a luxury hotel; with its fantastic customer service and Executive Chef John Bingley, there are a thousand reasons why you should visit for an overnight stay but the hotel also makes a fantastic wedding venue. As their recommended photographer, we love our visits to The Cave Hotel and look forward to photographing more weddings there in the future.
If you are an animal lover looking for a wedding venue, then take a look at Port Lympne. Hosted by the Aspinall foundation in the grounds of the famous nature reserve, there are 8 stunning wedding venues you can choose from.
If Giraffe Cottage or Bear Lodge don't suit your needs, you may find the Treehouse Hotel or the Moroccan Courtyard are the perfect location at Port Lympne to say I do.
A 17th century Manor House, Chilston Park is filled to the brim with traditional, historic decor; Ornate chandeliers hang from every room and the sweeping staircase is a feature not to be missed, perfect for a wedding photographer like me.
Immaculate lawns, a tranquil lake and manicured lawns add the the beauty of Chilston Park, a truly stunning wedding venue in Kent.

Whether you choose a marquee on the lawn during the summer where your guests can compete at a giant game of chess or a cosy winter wedding with roaring fires and historical interiors you will not be disappointed by what Broome Park have to offer.
Small weddings can be just as beautiful as any other when the Registry offices look like these. Both managed by A Kentish Ceremony, the decor inside each building is beautiful and the flower gardens make fantastic locations for photographs.
Of all the Registry Offices in Kent, Danson House is my all-time favourite. Situated in the London Borough of Bexley, Danson House is a stunning Grade I Georgian style villa overlooking parkland and the picturesque Danson Lake which makes it a wonderful wedding venue.
